TMS320F28335: Design TIDA-00961 with TMS320F28335

Hi Guys, 

Our customer is interested on to design TIDA-00961 with TMS320F28335 instead of TMS320F280049. They needed a Delfino controller board and TMS320F28335 is a perfect fit for them. 

Could you confirm if this is possible and help with the possible technical inquiries. Please let us know if you need any information.

    Jonathan,

    TIDA-00961 Hardware is not made to work with the TMDSCNCD28335 EVM. It uses a different edge connector. F28335 is a great part and should be able to support this application, but I would recommend using something like F2807x or F2837xS which are newer, are at a similar cost point, and have a number of newer PWM features which will benefit this application. 

    Additionally from a SW porting perspective, assuming the customer wishes to start from the F28004x example SW, these devices are more similar to F28004x than F28335 is which will make porting easier.
