Hi,

I am using SM320F2812-EP SPI interface for external memory. I need value for the pull up that we put at pins SPISIMOA(Pin-40), SPISOMIA(pin-41).

I am using 4.75K pull up resistor currently , but I want to know how that pull up value is calculated and the requirement of pull up as per controller.

    Hi Namita,

    The F2812 device doesn't have *internal* pull-ups on those pins. If you are asking how to calculate an *external* pull-up resistor value, you need to consider the IOL spec of the driving device and make sure that when it pulls the I/O low the resulting voltage will meet the VIL of the receiving device. There should be some material on the Web that can go into more details. The controller doesn't require an external pull-up resistor.
