Hi,

I am looking at the BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv Evaluation Module user guide revA. (SLUUBP1A–June 2017–Revised April 2018)
And it seems a little dated. I have installed CCS (10.4), and  C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK (3.2).

Looking at the guide SLUUBP1A, starting at 2.4  the folders totally different. Than what is installed at my computer.. For example:

First of all:  Unzip the BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv EVM software package.  (Where do I find this package?)

Navigate to the folder: C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\modules\hal\boards. (This folder i cant find!)

and so forth..  I dont know what i am supossed to do, then how am i supossed to do this when the folders not matching with the guide?

Is there not a finished project folder I can download for this boosterpack?

    There is no instaspin reference code for BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv in both motorWare and motor control SDK. The motor control SDK has the sensored-foc reference code based on BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv. You have to change the example project with boostxl-DRV8320RS to support BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv.

    The instaspin-foc with boostxl-DRV8320RS example project can be found in the folder of motorControlSDK as below

    C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_3_02_00_00\solutions\boostxl_drv8320rs\f28004x

    Is there any plans to make a reference code for the BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv, in the near future?

    There is already a sensored-foc reference code for the BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv in motorControlSDK. Yes, we will add a sensorless instaspin-foc reference code for the new device in the next couple of quarters.
