Hi,

Is there any functional difference between TMS32028388D and TMS320F28386D processors besides support for Ethercat?. 

I am trying to find out if software is compatible between two versions of the processor if my application is not using EtherCAT. 

Also just to confirm, they are pin to pin compatible. is that correct?
