Hello,

I am using the TMDSCNCD28388D and would like to design a small dock station to connect sensors with I2C, SPI and UART communications.

I need to keep the EtherCAT connectivity (with all the GPIO associated). Is there any way to have access to the PinMux file of the TMDSCNCD28388D? in order to make sure I won't choose pins that would not be compatible with the mux when using the EtherCAT with the CM?

The pinmux tool should already have all of the pinmux information for you. For documentation version of the PinMux spec of the device, take a look at the device datasheet.

Oh that is MANY years old. You want to use what is now called SysConfig.

Yes I also tried SysConfig.

So far, what I see is that I can just start a design with a F2838x from scratch. I was wondering if there is somewhere a .syscfg with the actual configuration used in the TMDSCNCD28388D for the EtherCAT pinout ect.

Right now I can take the schematic and do the pin assignment myself but I there is a way I can avoid any typo mistakes it would be great.
