TMS320F28379D: Evaluate 32-bit EMIF

My customers want to use 32-bit EMIF on TMS320F2837x, so I checked the pinout of EVM.
TMDSCNCD28379D has the following description.


Q1:
Is it possible with "TMDSCNCD28379D" and "TMDSHSECDOCK"?

Q2:
I think LAUNCHXL-F28379D can only evaluate 16-bit EMIF. Is this correct?

    Yes, but keep in mind that this would require some custom prototyping to interface the signals with an external memory.

    I think LAUNCHXL-F28379D can only evaluate 16-bit EMIF. Is this correct?

    Correct, LAUNCHXL-F28379D has less pin availability than TMDSCNCD28379D and can only evaluate 16-bit EMIF through its high density connector J9. TMDSCNCD28379D has a similar connector for evaluating 16-bit EMIF.

    This EMIF appnote includes information for a reference design using the J9 connector, and includes throughput benchmarks that compare relative performance for 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit memory bus sizes.
