TMS320F28386D: System control module registers when using both CPU

Part Number: TMS320F28386D

Hello,

While wandering around the PCLCR register, questions came to my mind.

At boot, all peripherals are assigned to the CPU1 and owernership can be given to the CPU2 by the CPU1.
However, the registers from the system control module are specific as they are accessible from both.

The TRM does not explain how these registers are shared when both are shown as accessible by the processor.

Is there two physical instances one per processor and then something is managed afterwards depending on who the owner is ?

Some of those registers are duplicated I am sure (e.g. the PIECtrl ones as each processor has its PIE or the timers).

My question is in particular with regards to the PCLKCR registers, I believe the PCLKCR bit that is taken into account to clock gate a module depends on the ownership ? Except for timers ?

Regards,

Clément
