INSTASPINUNIVERSALGUI: cannot install css app - in particular gui composed

I'm try to run the gui composer from CCSv10. I'm working on a Windows 11 system.

From the  related thread I saw from the CSS you click on View/CCS Apps Center and search for GUI

That all went find but when I click the install software button there is an error and when I view the error log this is what I find

  • What C2000 device are you using?

    INSTASPINUNIVERSALGUI uses a pretty old version of GUI Composer, so I'm doubtful of its compatibility with newer versions of CCS like v10 or v11. Are you able to run the GUI standalone without CCS?

  • The target is the LAUNCHXL-F28027.   I'm surprised I can't even download it from the  CSS Studio Apps in the first place.   I didn't have much luck running it in standalone mode but I'm not sure I understood the directions I had to do that.   Maybe you know of good instructions. Thanks

  • The only document I'm aware of is C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\docs\guis\universal\qsg_gui_universal.pdf

    There's a section in there about using the standalone GUI. Is that what you were trying to use before? What issues did you run into?
