I am working on a custom board with instaspin (motorware) library. In my application, I want to know the speed of motor (gMotorVars.Speed_krpm) when the motor is disabled ie when flag gMotorVars.Flag_enableSys = false;

Is there a way?

    You might refer to lab10e using flying start feature. By the way, the motor must be running at a speed that has BEMF voltage to estimate the speed and rotor angle. The sensorless-FOC with estimator can not measure the speed of the motor at zero or very low speed. You may try to run the motor with position sensore if you have to know the speed and position of the motor at any time or state.
