TMDSCNCD28035ISO: Socket for card

I designed solar inverter with the use of TMDSCNCD28035ISO card. Now I am close to release v2 of this design. Unfortunately, there is no option to buy a socket for this card in the market. Both 5390213-1 from TE and 0876301001 from Molex. I checked with different distributors and all of them are out of stock.

Is there any solution to remain with TMS320F28035 MCU? Is the only way to mount that MCU directly on the board without use of the controlCARD or migrate to another MCU?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the DIM100 connector is no longer being manufactured and has reached EOL. There may be some stock available from Asia distributors, however, they have minimum order quantities. Send me a direct message if you want more information.

Those would be the only alternatives.

We needed a few for the TMDSCNCD28069MISO for NDA research.

No where to be found. A company that was making the same (that Molex and TE Connectivity where making - the 3.3V one (because there are 5.0V versions it that have some gold fingers shifted)) had some left over and I managed to get 10 only.

The Keying is Key1=TypeC and Kye2=TypeA
Molex and TE, had similar Keyings, be careful if you find sockets elsewhere, not all socket fingers are the same.

Else you can maybe find "docking stations" (like we do, we have three from the old days)

Okay, thank you for respond. Could you provide some design files for TMDSCNCD28035ISO? In Control Suite, there is only schematic file made in Orcad and gerber files. Could you either provide Altium design Files or board layout made in Orcad. Reverse engineering from gerber files is not that helpful.

I did transfer the Schematic files of the TMDSCNCD28069MISO to Altium schematic files via the Import Wizard. But it could not understand the .pcb file there. Opened the .pcb file with notepad and at some point we read C:\Pads Layout 9.1. Used the PADS importer but I did not grab the .pcb file but the ASCII file!
Here you go. The TMDSCNCD28069MISO (not the TMDSCNCD28035ISO). They are very close cousins, and you can still find some TMDSCNCD28069MISO and TMDSCNCD28069P in the market.
