TMS320F280040C-Q1: CSM Passwords ALL_0

Hi Champs,

I know the the selected zone become permanently locked if the CSM passwords are all zero. If so, wouldn't reprogramming the flash with Flash API from same zone also work?

Hi Steve,

Yes, it should work. Have you tried it and it's not working ? Please note that you'll not be able to program the USER OTP (which has security configuration) though because zone need to be unlocked to enable programming of USER OTP.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I haven't tried this yet. One of my customers want to set up the device permanently lock from debug. Is it enough to just set the first LINKPOINTER?

Yes, that should be good because as I mentioned with ALL_0 password, one can not update the USER OTP.
