TMS320F28035: Gui_Vbus Self Regulate

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Hi Team, seeking for some assistance.

We are working on the C2000 Microcontrollers TMDSSolaruinvkit with the TMS320F28035 on code composer. We have been following the "Digitally Controlled Solar Micro Inverter Design using C2000 Piccolo Microcontroller" User Guide and have successfully completed builds 1 and 2. We have now moved on to build 3 and are having troublegetting the Gui_Vbus to regulate itself. Ideally, when the PVInverterState is active, the Vbus should regulate itself around 275V. On our board the Vbus does not stop increasing until it reaches 418V where the inverter shuts itself off. We have not made any changes to the code other than what is specified in the instructions. We have tried looking through the code but don't quite understand how the Vbus is supposed to be regulated or why it is not self regulating.

Would you know of any reason why the Vbus may not be regulating itself around 275V.

Thank you.

-Mark
