Hi,

(The part number is TMS320F280037 and not TMS320F280037C. There was no option to provide TMS320F280037.)

The part number that is being used for my project does not have CLB. I want to do the following:

Assume output of comparators of CMPSS are C1 and C2, I need (C1 & !C2) and (C2 & !C1) as trip signals into the ePWM. I can use two CMPSS subsytems to get !C1, !C2, C1 and C2. Is it possible to generate (C1 & !C2) and (C2 & !C1) to ePWM X-BAR without CLB?

As long as your DEVICE has the C in the name when you bought it, it should have CLB. For the software support we use superset devices which have the CLB.

So you question is specifically without the CLB?

You want to AND the CMPSS outputs?

Hi Aparna,

Nima is correct, no AND function in either CMPSS or EPWMXBAR. I'm guessing you are trying to implement a window function where the CMPSS only trips the EPWM when signal stays within the window?

Hi Frank,

The application is not that, but essentially yes. CMPSS only trips when the two signals are not high at the same time to ensure that it is complementary, which cannot be ensured otherwise as the inputs to the comparator are not perfect sine waves (and we were using CMPSS for controlling both rising and falling edges). But since this is not possible with our part number, we have altered our design.
