Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE, TMS320F28027F, C2000WARE, TMDSADAP180TO100, TMDSCNCD280025C
Dear all,
A few years ago (2012-2013) we develop a sensorless drive using example in motorware and using TMS320F28027F.
For several reason, the final product was never commercialized but this was not related to the drive, the results with the drive were quite good (especially with help of ChrisClearman and
Jorge Zambada), especially regarding low speed performance and flying start (reverse or forward).
In the coming month, we will start a new sensorless project and we will first start to evaluate the different supplier solution (including TI but also competitors).
I have spent some time to look all the documentation (C2000ware motor control SDK) and I want to be sure that I will use the right tool to evaluate the TI solution.
From what I can see, there is no longer need to use controller with specific ROM code as it was before, so we plan to use "entry" solution for cost reason.
Our choice for evaluation will be using TMDSCNCD280025C (+ TMDSADAP180TO100) which is compatible with the HVKIT we already have. Is it a good choice?
I plan to do the lab of this document https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruj26/spruj26.pdf , is it the best way to evaluate performance (low speed and flying start) with our own motor?
In level 2 what kind of motor should we connect? PMSM or ACIM?
In initial MOTORWARE, there was a GUI that was used to drive the motor (speed, direction and tune all KP,KI etc...) and show curves, I can't find any similar tool in Motor control SDK, I'm right?
There was a good guide for MOOTRWARE:
https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spruhj1
But according to this, it doesn't apply to C2000Ware MotorControl SDK:
Is there a similar guide for C2000Ware MotorControl SDK? I cannot find it.
Thank for your help!
Regards.
