Dear community,
we would like to validate the integrity of the ROM via CRC32. Is there a way to double check the CRC i.e. once with a golden CRC and once with a CRC saved somewhere in the ROM?
In the technical reference chapter '4.7.4.1 Boot ROM Memory Maps' it states that a 'ROM Signature' is located at 0x003F0000 with a length of 2 words. I thought this might be something like a ROM CRC32 but the value of this address is 0xFF81 which seems quite unlikely to be a CRC. Unfortunately we could not find any documentation about this 'ROM Signature'.
Do you know what this signature is for and, if it is no checksum, whether there is a ROM checksum stored somewhere else.
