TMS320F28386D: VREFHI input equivalent circuit

Part Number: TMS320F28386D

Hello,

I order to justify the stability of the OPA we use to feed the VREFHI input (we put 0.1ohm/22uF on the OPA output as suggested in the TRM), we would need to have an equivalent circuit schematic of the input.

Is this something you can provide us with ?

Out of interest, we do have a NDA in-between our companies in case this is something that can't be widely shared.

Best regards,

Clément

  • Hi Clément,

We actually started working on an appnote to provide improved guidance to customers on VREFHI input network design. However it won't be ready until sometime later this year. Same goes for the model, we don't have anything to provide right now.

For some guidance, you can refer to this e2e post by Devin.

Alternatively, you can also just refer to the VREFHI input network we use on our F28388x controlCARD as that is guaranteed to work without any stability issues.
