its possible that your application got an exception (error) and due to that the PC jumped to the handler in boot rom code.

try to keep a simple while 1 at 0x80000 and see if control reaches there.

Did not help. Works if start manually from 0x80000, but does not work if I do it with reset.

Would you send me please some compiled example for LAUNCHXL-F280025C that starts from Flash?

I need project and pre-compiled OUT file that starts from Flash as expected.

there are examples in C2000ware. You can use one of the examples under driverlib folder. Try flash configuration and see if it works.

Also share the content at 0x0, 0x2, 0x4, 0x6 when it fails.

What is 0, 2, 4 ,6?

The chances of ROM failure is rare but possible. To understand the status of ROM execution i asked for the contents at  0x0, 0x2, 0x4, 0x6. These are RAM locations.

to get the contents at  0x0, 0x2, 0x4, 0x6  connect the target without gel file. otherwise gel file will overwrite the contents in RAM locations.

No gels, 0,2,4,6 contain 0

Can you also check if you are able to write to these locations in RAM. If user OTP settings are messed up that can also cause some complexity in understanding the boot flow.

alternatively if you have another device/board can you try on that ?

when you reset the flash controller would have got reset and may need to be configured again. That's why it is showing 0's.

If there was a gel file it will initialize when you reset.

I see zeros at 0x80000 when I do reset without gel file

i mean if you reset with gel file you will see the previously written content.

have you written anything to user OTP or is it at default values that came with the device?

Did not write anything to OTP, at least not intentionally. 

can you call disable watchdog API as first thing in main() function and then a while 1.

the examples in C2000ware are tested examples. you can try any of them.

are you sure the board connections are good and boot pins 24 and 32 read '1' ?
