Hello,

I'm working on a project where i'm trying to implement structure packing. CCS is returning error for this.
Kindly let me know the solution for this problem.

Let me know if any other info is required from myside.

I'm using following setup
MCU: TMS320F280039C
CCS: Version: 11.2.0.00007
compiler: C2000 (TI v21.6.0 LTS)

Unfortunately, the C28x compiler does not support the packed attribute for structs.

Hello,

thank you for the response.

I'm trying to port TCP/IP stack on TI MCU. and it requires packing. Currently the TCP/IP Stack has integrated structure packing in the code. since this is not support on TI then is there any alternative solution to implement this.

Which C2000 device/TI MCU are you trying to port the TCP/TI stack to? Is it F2838x ? F2838x has a CM (Cortex-M core) and has EMAC IP.

As mentioned , the he C28x compiler does not support the packed attribute for structs. You can try porting it for F2838x CM.
