TMS320F28374D: The SDFM data setup time requirement

Can you clarify which AMC device you are using?

I mentioned my customer is using F28374D + AMC1305F25, we don't need to do GPIO inversion when SDFM connected to AMC1305.

Furthermore, the minimum setup time requirement is 10 ns when using GPIO 3-sample option. According to my customer's measurement, the setup time is only 8.4 ns in his design but he didn't get conversion data errors.

Since 8.4 ns setup time violates the spec in datasheet, he wants to know how to explain this situation.

I cannot find AMC1305F25 on ti.com, hence my question. 

As far as why no errors are seen, there could be many factors. First, the datasheet spec is across ALL operating conditions. If customer is only testing at room temp and nominal voltage, for example, there may be a more relaxed timing requirement and hence no errors seen.

You can take AMC1305M25 for reference.

Based on your comments, we should say the setup time should meet the minimum requirement 10 ns in datasheet, to make sure the SDFM works well across all operating conditions, for example full operating temperature. Is it correct?
