TMS320F28379D: Auxiliary clock AUXPLLCLK for USB

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer.

They are using X1 (XTAL) with the OSCILLATOR frequency 25MHz for clocking.

As datasheet refer, the auxiliary clock (AUXPLLCLK) for USB system specifies nominal frequency for 60MHz.

While from the formula f (AUXPLLCLK) = f (AUXOSCCLK) * (AUXPLLMULT.IMULT + AUXPLLMULT.FMULT) / AUXCLKDIVSEL.AUXPLLDIV, if the f (AUXOSCCLK) is chosen in 25MHz, it is literally impossible to get 60MHz.

My question is according to the content of the TRM, the 25MHz clock source may not meet the USB application. Or actually it is ok with it, may I confirm that ?

Thanks and regards,

Johnny
