TMS320F280039C: PWM generation from ePWM module.

Hello Team,

I want to generate EPWM3A which is ORing of EPWM1A and EPWM2B

and EPWM3B -->EPWM1B || EPWM2A.

Using ePWM module of C2000 MCU.

Let me know generating such signal is possible using TMS320F280039C. and if yes please share any code for generating such signal.

Would you be okay using the CLB? Does your device variant have CLB? if yes, the solution would be VERY CLEAN.

If not, you have to configure your EPWM3 CMPx and action values to always mimic an ORed signal.

Our device do have CLB. could you Please explain how to generate required PWM signal.

Okay great you can take both the EPWM1A and EPWM2A into CLB and generate EPWM1A | EPWM2A.

You can do the same thing with EPWM1B and EPWM2B.

We have a lot of collateral and examples on the CLB that can show you exactly how to do this.
