TMS320F280025C: Move MotorControl SDK Path?

Part Number: TMS320F280025C

I made some time ago a backup of the MotorControl SDK and it seems a project is refering to this backup instead of the normal SDK path:

I really cannot figure out how I can change this path, I tried everything (Linked Resources, Environment Variables etc.), but it always changes back to this path. How can I change that back?

  • It really seems, that the MotorControl_SDK has somehow this fix path and overwrites every other path in every project. I really cannot find that path settings anywhere.

  • Is that path still valid? Is your backup still at that location? I think part of the difficulty is that it's located within C:/ti/ which is one of the default product discovery paths (as seen in Window -> Preferences, then Code Composer Studio -> Products)

Let me loop in the CCS team to see if they have some advice...

  • Sebastian,

CCS searches for and discovers software products.  In that preferences dialog that Whitney mentioned will be the locations that CCS searches for products and the products that it has discovered.  CCS is discovering your backup version of the SDK.  You could move it to a location that is not part of the set of paths that CCS searches and then click the "Refresh" button in the preferences dialog.  It would then forget the backup as it can't find it and hopefully find your other copy of the SDK (assuming its location is in one of the places CCS is searching).
