TIDM-1001: Changes required for 65V input , 400V output Design

Part Number: TIDM-1001

Hi

I am interested to  modify this design with the following specifications -

  • Input : 65V +/-1 V ( the modified TIDM 1001 will regulate the input voltage for this application )
  • Output : 400V ( an external load will regulate the output voltage at 400V  )
  • Power :500W

I want this DC-DC converter to regulate the input voltage to 65V +/1 V   , an external load module will regulate the output voltage to about 400V

Can you summarise the changes that will be required especially to the resonant components , the transformer and the software ?

How much work will be required make these changes ?

Regards

BJE

  • Hi,

The resonant tank seems needing a redesign, you might want to check the switches voltage rating at the low voltage side. maybe adc conditioning circuit too.  Software-wise, you may want to tune the control parameter if necessary.

I cannot give an estimate of work or time.

    Thanks.
