Hi,

We are running our program in CPU1_Flash. We found the issue as below.

Description Resource Path Location Type
#10099-D</a> program will not fit into available memory, or the section contains a call site that requires a trampoline that can't be generated for this section. placement with alignment/blocking fails for section ".text" size 0x351f page 0. Available memory ranges: 28003x_generic_flash_lnk.cmd /wolfspeed_modular_platform_evaluation_fw line 93 C/C++ Problem

Can you please provide, what change we need?

Hi Sudip,

If you are using TMDSCNCD280049C, then you should use 28004x_generic_flash_lnk.cmd

Add one more Flash sector for .text section.

.text : >> FLASH_BANK0_SEC2 | FLASH_BANK0_SEC3 | FLASH_BANK0_SEC5 | FLASH_BANK0_SEC6 , PAGE = 0, ALIGN(4)

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for the reply. Adding another section didn't solve our issue. We tried a couple of permutations, which are listed below.

The error seems to be when I'm executing some floating point mathematical operations. Kindly check the below steps and results and recommend what can be done.

void funct_1(float var1, float var2);
// this function takes float input, does some calculations and writes those in EPWM register

uint16_t new_var = 100;

funct_1(100, 100);
// works fine

funct_1(100, 100*100);
// works fine

funct_1(100, 100*0.01);
// works fine

funct_1(100, new_var * 100);
// works fine

funct_1(100, new_var * 0.01);
// throws the snapshoted error
