Hi Team,

We used C2000 to program a chip. Everything went well when we programmed the blank chip for the first time. But on top of this, the second time we programmed the chip, it showed that the programing of the chip failed. “ERROR 73” appeared as shown in the picture below:

Hi Katherine,

Are you powering the target device from the C2000-GANG? Or Are you using external power supply? If not already, can you try external power supply and see if that helps?

Hi Vamsi,

The power adapter is supplementary to C2000-GANG, and the target device was not powered. If I program the chip while the device is being powered, will C2000-GANG be damaged?

Just to confirm I understood correctly: Are you saying that the target device is powered using an external power supply?

I just tried using an external power supply, but the same problem emerged. (The programming of the chip was successful at the first attempt, and it failed at my second attempt. The error’s code is ERROR 23: MCU device init.
