TMS320F28027F: InstaSPIN ROM is same or not from Y19 to Y22 device

Dears

Customer would like to double confirm if the instaSPIN ROM inside the F28027F is same exactly between Y19 and Y22 device?

Because customer found their product behavior run difference. The board with Y19 F28027F drive motor well, but the board with Y22 F28027F drive motor to be startup fail. They test several board with difference device and get the same behavior result.

The board are exactly same PCB design and same component value, all devices program the same .out firmware code.    So customer suspect if the instaSPIN ROM is difference between Y19 and Y22 device?

    Terry,

    The InstaSPIN code in ROM is totally the same for all of F2802xF devices include Y19 and Y22 F28027F devices. They may try to identify the motor parameters with these two different devices if possible, to see if the identified motor parameters are the same.
