C2000WARE: setup is damaged and can't be opened

Can you ask the customer to open terminal, then 

sudo spctl --master-disable

Then install the C2000Ware, and once installation is complete, 

sudo spctl --master-enable

Let me know if it still does not work.

I tried on my home MacBook and I am seeing the same error. We will take a look at issue and get back to you.

Do you know which Mac OS is the customer using? 

In the meantime, the customer can download the C2000Ware package from TI's resource explorer. See attached snapshot. 

This will be downloaded as a zip file.

I was able to reproduce it.  Looks like Apple is not allowing to install it since it doesn't trust the source. 

When an application gets downloaded from any source other than those that Apple seems suited, the application gets an extended attribute "com.apple.Quarantine". This triggers the message: "<application> is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Bin."

Remove the attribute and you can launch the C2000Ware installer .

To do this, open a terminal and type:$ xattr -c <path/to/C2000Ware_4_02_00_00_setup.app>

Pls try this out and let us know if it resolves the issue.
