TIDM-1003: How to debug or to Program reference design TMS320f28027fptq using only JTAG without FTDI.

The TIDM-1003 Reference design schematic has a Jtag port to debug or program the TMS320f28027FPTQ but LAUNCHXL-F28027 doesn't have an open Jtag port to debug or program .my questions are,

1)Does have any method to program reference design TMS320f28027FPTQ without having FTDI? I need to use the JTAG port. Launchpad LAUNCHXL-F28027 doesn't have an open Jtag port(I haven't an external debugger like XDS110 and tried to use the inbuilt launchpad debugger side to program or debug the MCU)

2)Are there any open Jtag launchpad(like cc2640) c2000 launchpad to match debug the reference design TMS320f28027FPTQ?

For a low-cost debug Probe you could use a C2000 LaunchPad if you have one. Specifically using the LAUNCHXL-F28027 would require some custom soldering / wiring to the signals on J9 of TIDM-1003 design. These JTAG signals from the LaunchPad could be before or after the isolation. The newer LaunchPads that use XDS110 make it simpler to connect the Debug Probe signals (see LAUNCHXL-F280039C / F2800137), but they don't have TRST signal (should be able to work without it).

1)Do you mean custom soldering should be done to the ISO7240 and ISO 7231 IC outputs? When it proceeds, do the problems occur because parallel to the launchpad MCU side and reference design circuit ic side?

2)can i use LAUNCHXL-F280039C / F2800137 for debugging and programming TMS320f28027FPTQ ?

Yes this is what I was meaning. You would need to de-solder the F28027 on the LaunchPad, or disconnect the JTAG signals to the Isolator / FTDI device some way.

Yes, this should work as long as you consider TRSTn signal properly. See below thread for some relevant details.
