When trying to IMPORT empty project using c2000/driverlib/f28004x/examples/emptyproject, the system is unable to import the project with error as "Import failed for project 'empty-projects' because its meta-data cannot be interpreted. Please contact support."
Earlier removed the CCS program and re-installed but the same error.
How to rectify this issue? Plz help me since I am very beginner with CCS.

When you import the project, it should create a new project in your workspace from the projectspec file and leave the original project untouched. Do not delete them.
Looks like you have corrupted your C2000Ware by deleting the projectspec file. If you want you can reinstall it.
The error you are getting because you are trying to import .cproject, .ccsproject, .project.
Keep your workspace outside of C2000Ware install folder, like C:/Work etc.
All the imported projects will be in workspace folder.
