Hello experts,

This is a continuation of the original thread.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000-microcontrollers-group/c2000/f/c2000-microcontrollers-forum/1194157/tms320f28075-the-power-supply-voltage-of-the-built-in-1-2vreg-increases-to-1-46v

[Problem]
The customer has built a PCB using the TMS320F28075PTPT and is using the 1.2VREG with built into DSP. They are experiencing a symptom that the supply voltage of 1.2VREG becomes as large as 1.46V after the DSP is released from reset. Some boards have this problem and some do not, and it can always be reproduced on problem board that do.

It has been pointed out to us that the problem may be caused by the PowerPAD, please allow me to confirm this.

Q1:Regarding the shape of the metal mask for the PowerPAD part, could you give us any recommendations or references other than those listed below?
PowerPAD Thermally Enhanced Package (Rev. H)

Q2:Please allow me to share customer's metal mask information with you in private chat.
We would like to improve it in any way possible, so any tips or opinions would be appreciated.

Best regards,
O.H
