TMS320F28069: Need unique ID (for example serial number)

I need a way of uniquely identifying each unit of a product that contains a TMS320F28069 microcontroller. I've looked through the datasheet for the microcontroller but I can't find anything about a serial number.

Is there any unique number at all? For example a MAC address or something similar?

I find it asinine that this chip provides a serial number that might not be unique. Was the principal software architect in a coma that day?

Hi Thomas,

If your system requires unique ID, then you can take a look at newer device which has 256-bit unique id.
