I see generic ISR count constantly increasing and no RX or TX ISRs. This is the same as what the original poster was experiencing. Any further guidance?

The C2000Ware driver code (driverlib) really needs some good documentation. Most drivers can be figured out from the examples, but the Ethernet block is one of the more complicated ones that would benefit from deeper explanation. Contrary to an answer to this request in anther post, commented code just doesn't cut it.

Jay,

Yes, Ethernet drivers are complex as compared to other drivers and the Ethernet IP itself was taken from a third party and hence there isn't good documentation around it. Also, since Ethernet is only on this device (f2838x) within the C2000 device family, it's bit difficult to support it since the examples were developed a long time ago.

Will try to see if I can get some help on this particular example.

Hi Siddharth,

I get that much of the third party stuff may not be well documented. I was mostly concerned with the driverlib portion, which I thought was created and maintained by TI (at least your copyright marks are all over it). Specifically, files like c2000ware\driverlib\f2838x\driverlib_cm\ethernet.c.

There is API guide which desribes the ethernet driver APIs . This is the only documentation currently available. You can find it at the link below
