Hi BU experts,

I have a question about the pin's timing characteristics, it is said that the maximum toggling frequency for a GPIO is 25MHz; but for SPI peripheral, datasheet also shows that the maximum SPICLK could be LSPCLK/4 = 50Mhz. I want to know if the GPIO toggling frequency will limit the SPI's maximum working frequency.

Hi Will,

These two tables are completely separate specifications in the datasheet and only apply to the module they are referring to (GPIO vs. SPI). If you are configuring a pin for SPI, it will be able to fulfill the max specified in that table for SPI freq. So no, the GPIO toggling frequency max will not limit the SPI max (it doesn't apply to SPI). Hope this clarifies things, and please let me know if you have further questions!
