DRV8353RS-EVM: DRV8353 and F2800157

Hey,

We are working on DRV8353 and TI launchpad F2800157 for BLDC motor application. I configured with Universal Motor Controller code (I followed the universal motor control SDK document).

We have below query while interfacing with TI driver board and launch pad.

1. On the F280025C many system condition are created automatically as per UMC SDK document but when we integrate F2800157 nothing created,

2. How can I add the DRV configuration for F2800157,

3. What is the GPIO connection for DRV8353 with F2800157,

4. Can we stack the DRV8353Rs-EVM module with F2800157 launchpad directly. (F2800157 and F280025C GPIO pins are not same).

Can you help understand what we are missing?

    Hi Premkumar,

    The universal motor lab example code for F280015x device in the current release only supports the HV-KIT, thus, there is no selections for the DRV device. You can add this to your project by referring to the F280025C example. For hardware connection, please check the launchpad pinout map and the schematic of the DRV device so that the critical signals (e.g., PWM, ADC, SPI communication,...) are matching.

    Thank you your response. 

    On Universal Motor Controller sdk code witch are the files I need to modify? 

    I taken the reference from F280025c example code. In the many file I need to change. Could you brief me more? 

    Or I requesting you to can we have a shot call. So, Help as to resolve this issue quickly.

    You can refer to the parts that related to the DRV8353 and add them to your project with F280015x.
