TMS320F28384D: JTAG Lock

Part Number: TMS320F28384D

While testing the watchdog on programming - (customer use FlashAPI) the customboard was blocked.

I added the logs below:

 Additional error messages:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -1015 @ 0x0)

Device is not responding to the request.  Device may be locked, or the debug probe connection may be unreliable. Unlock the device if possible (e.g. use wait in reset mode, and power-cycle the board). If error persists, confirm configuration and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

(Emulation package 9.3.0.00058)

And:

Error connecting to the target: (Error -1135 @ 0x0) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 9.8.0.00235)

  • Hi,

Could the customer try changing the device to wait boot mode?

If the customer's device resets while programming/erasing flash, it is possible to accidentally program a password. They should still be able to connect in wait boot mode, but they will not be able to erase the password if one was accidentally programmed.

    Best Regards,

    Ben Collier
