Tool/software:

i am developping an application using InstaSPIN-MOTION of motorware_1_01_00_17. CCS version is 12.4.0. I have motor to move from reference point (zero) to 104 mechanical revolutions.

But the motor always move to 96 Mrev and then stop moving. Who can help me to solve the problem? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Kevin,

Our development is based on lab # lab 13b, and modified ST_MREV_ROLLOVER to its max value 100, and added a variable

gMotorVars.PositionFeedback_MRev = STPOSCONV_getPosition_mrev(stObj->posConvHandle) in order to watch motion situation.

I did lab 13b again, after the number of rotation of the motor is more than 100, the variable, gMotorVars.PositionFeedback_MRev, changed into minus.

That is 4 - 100 = -96.

I want to know if there is method that keeps the variable, gMotorVars.PositionFeedback_MRev, always positive.

Hi Winston,

You're using the HVKIT or other hardware for your testing? Which curve type are you using?

SpinTAC is relative position based, see description below. Do you know that you started at position 0 for your test?

SpinTAC Position Control may need to be tuned as well.
