TMDSDOCK28379D: Error -233

Part Number: TMDSDOCK28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

I just bought the TMDSDOCK28379D experimenters kit and the XDS110 JTAG debug probe. I was getting everything set up with CCS and C2000WARE. I plugged both my debug probe and my kit into the computer and tried to set up my target configuration file. I left all of my advanced settings alone and tried testing my connection and I got this error.

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

The value is '-233' (0xffffff17).
The title is 'SC_ERR_PATH_BROKEN'.

The explanation is:
The JTAG IR and DR scan-paths cannot circulate bits, they may be broken.
An attempt to scan the JTAG scan-path has failed.
The target's JTAG scan-path appears to be broken
with a stuck-at-ones or stuck-at-zero fault.

After this I tried messing with the advanced settings and changing the frequency and even setting up a serial number for my debugger and trying to manually enter it into the advanced settings but I keep getting the same error. I know I've seen other people online getting the same error code but I didn't really understand how they fixed it or what was wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
