Part Number: C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK

Tool/software:

We are working on new design for motor speed control application where BLDC or PMSM motor upto 3kW will be controlled by Sinusoidal, Trapezoidal and FOC control.

Is there any TI microcontroller suitable for such application. Evaluation board will be helpful for speeding up design development cycle.

Kindly suggest.

    The universal_motorcontrol_lab supports all but Sinusoidal algorithm. Most C2000 motor control solutions use FOC since it typically offers the smoothest control with highest torque output / DC bus utilization. See the guide below.

    The right C2000 MCU will depend on your overall device / system requirements. F28002x, 003x, 0013x,  0015x, P65x, & newest P55x are all good options.

    The right evaluation board for the inverter would depend on your voltage level requirements.
