TMS320F280039C-Q1: The suggested capacitor allocation for VDD

Hi team

As the DS request, VDD should connected to capacitor to have a stable power supply, there is 4 pins 4, 46, 71, 87 for VDD capacitor connection, now customer has 2 pcs 10uf capacitors and 4 pcs 100nf capacitors, which pin do you recommend to place the 10uf capacitors.

Joe,

the 10 uF caps are bulk caps, they can connect anywhere on the 1.2V supply rail. The 100nF caps are decoupling caps and must be very close to each device pin.

I wouldn't put the 10uF caps very far (several inches) away from the device, but they are not required to be directly next to it.
