TIDM-SOLAR-DCDC: Seeking TI IC Recommendations for Solar-Powered System

Part Number: TIDM-SOLAR-DCDC

Tool/software:

Dear TI Community,

I'm working on a solar-powered system that requires a battery charging circuit, buck-boost conversion, and multiple output voltages. I'm looking for recommendations for suitable TI ICs to meet these requirements.

System Specifications:

  • Solar panel output and PMIC maximum Input voltage: 4.4V to 24V
  • Battery charging current: 2A
  • Battery charging cutoff voltage: 4.25V
  • Output voltages form Buck and Boost: 3.3V for MCU peripherals and 5V for RS485 and other serial communication

Key Requirements:

  • Compact and efficient design
  • Single IC or minimal number of ICs preferred
  • High efficiency and low power consumption

I've been exploring TI's product offerings but would appreciate guidance from the community on potential ICs that could be well-suited for this application. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,

Dhruvit Bhimani
