It might be from different assembly sites or we may just have multiple acceptable lead frames for this product. I will check with the manufacturing team and get back to you. Can you also provide the markings from the topside of the devices?

I just received the reply overnight. Both lead frame styles (single Y-shape tie bar and double Y-shaped tie bar) are valid. The lead frame strip used is 2x12 with the single-Y on the top and double-Y on the bottom so if you x-ray more devices, you can expect roughly 50% of each type.
