LAUNCHXL-F28379D: ADC Input Voltage Modification

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D

Tool/software:

Hello,

Based on this forum post, by default, the ADCs on the LAUNCHXL-F28379D support 0 V to 3.0 V. For a project I am working on, it would be far more convenient if I could send a signal with values 0 V to 3.3 V to the ADC. It seems like the solution they decided on in the thread was to de-solder the output pin on the REF5030 and insert an external 3.3 V signal to VREF. I am not confident enough in my soldering skills to be able to remove a component from the LaunchPad like this, so I would really prefer not to follow this solution.

I was wondering if there is any other way to support a 0 V to 3.3 V input signal to the ADC pins? Or, should I normalize the signal I am sending to the ADCs to be from 0 V to 3.0 V using a voltage divider?

Thank you.
