I want to use LM5171EVM-BIDIR as a bidirectional dc/dc converter to charge a supercapacitor bank and discharge it to a bus. I want to regulate the bus voltage using a LAUNCHXL-F28379D Development kit (or a similar c2000 board). I want to connect this c2000 board to the LM5171. The manual says contact TI for this.

Which has an answer to contact the MCU team, so I'm sending my question here.
What connections do I need to make? Can I program this using the simulink c2000 support package? Will I be needing any external sensors or will I be able to use the existing ones on the LM5171EVM board?
