TMDXIDDK379D: PCB, BOM and SCH files for the M2/M8 modules

Hi Team,

I am unable to find the M2/M8 power supply (400V to 15V DC/DC converter) PCB, BOM and SCH files of TMDXIDDK379D. All other module schematics are there.

Where can I find these files ?

Hi Sumit,
Thank you for your response.

In the Development Kit (TMDXIDDK379D) that we've purchased the part no. of Q2 component on the M2/M8 module is "STD3NK60Z", whereas in the BOM that was shared in the TMDXIDDK379D: schematic files for the M2/M8 modules , the part mentioned for Q2 is "FQD3N60TF". Is the received part a direct substitute or is there any other reason for the substitution ?

Swapnil,

You can use it directly. Datasheet parameter are close enough to make them direct substitute.

Sumit,

While powering up the TMDXIDDK379D using an AC supply, the Q2 component of the M8 module developed a crack. The Control Card was not mounted, and all settings were configured according to the Hardware Reference Guide. Is there any specific reason why this might have happened?

Swapnil,

Have you checked if drain-source/gate-source short circuit? Was there any smoke or overheating the component?
