TMS320F2800132: Alternative Programmer for TMS320F206 DSP

Hi,

I am currently having  the TMS320F206 DSP and using the XDS510 PP emulator, which is the recommended option for this device but currently XDS510  it not available . I would like to know if there are any alternative programmers or emulators available that are compatible with the TMS320F206, especially considering the legacy nature of the XDS510 PP.

Could you please share any available options or suggestions for alternate programming tools that support this device?

    Hi Naveen,

    Besides the XDS510PP, the only tool we've historically used with this device is prg2xx.exe, a DOS-window based tool. Unfortunately prg2xx is something from Spectrum Digital, not TI, and Spectrum Digital is out of business. Perhaps you can refer to this thread for a potential solution:  Need API to talk to ancient TMS320F206 

    As you know, this device has reached End-of-Life (EOL) stage and in this state is not sold/supported anymore. Hopefully someone on this forum can provide what you need.
