Hi experts,

my customer need to add security to TMS320F28054F-Q1

so, you should be able to disable JTAG and enable JTAG using security ID.

we are reviewing the DCSM content of TRM, but we don't understand it enough.

if possible, please provide the example source and explanation.

Hello,

Did you also refer to the JTAGLOCK application report? This document will explain how to enable and disable JTAG using the DCSM.

Hi Matt,

we already checked the JTAGLOCK.

the TMS320F28054F can not be found in the list of supported devices in this document.

please guide me how I can diable JTAG using TMS320F28054F.

Hello,

Apologies, I misunderstood the part number.

Please refer to the JTAGLOCK register field in the Z1_OTPSECLOCK register of the OTP. This register will effectively lock JTAG access.

Hello,

Please ignore the first reply with the application report. The JTAGLOCK feature on F2805x devices is permanent, there is no way to unlock and connect to the device once Z1_OTPSECLOCK.JTAGLOCK != 0xF
