Floating Vs. IQ_MATH

Hi,

I am a beginer and I am using Delfino F28335. I am going to write a program which manly has multiplications,addition & substitutions. I need also to evaluate 3X sines. My question is it faster to write the program as an IQ math or is faster to write it as a floating point. How the floating point performance is compared to IQ math.
