Hi,
You mean to say mechanical and shock test of this IC ?
Regards,
Gautam
Thanks Gautam.
I want to know the 28335's range of viberation and shock.
Regards,
Lee
Hi Lee,
Can you list out your application? Because this IC works perfectly fine under any kind of vibrations and shocks.
Regards,
Gautam
Sure.
We use the IC for unmanned helicopter.

Hi Lee,
I've used MSP430 family ICs that are 16-bit low-end controllers for automotive based applications; that can sustain heavy vibrations and shocks. TMS series is a 32-bit high-end DSP controller that has more stricter norms.
No need to worry! Go ahead :)

Gautam
Bogdan,
From one of our reliability experts:
I don't expect to see an issue with the package itself. For solder joint reliability, the QFP will provide the most robust solution.
You could also select a SM320F28335-EP (enhanced product) device which is qualified/tested under more scrutiny for aerospace/defense applications. It will be manufactured with a stronger solder type as well.
Thank you,
Brett
Bogdan,
On the webpage for this particular chip, you will find the reliability reports under the "More Literature" section of the "Technical Documents" tab.
I got a bit of extra guidance in response to your previous question: you'll also need to use a proper board adhesive. Not too hard or the package body can crack but not too soft or leads & solder joints can be broken.
Thank you,
Brett
