Problem with understanding codes of TMS320f28335

I am a newbie here, i have just started to work with TMS320F2833. Now I am trying to learn how to write codes. I have looked some of the example codes, but couldn't understand different registers they call. For instance IER, IFR, EVA, EINT, ERTM, EALLOW, EDIS, DINT etc. I do not know where to start, because I am learning these by myself.

So could any one please help me and suggest me any guideline to follow, refer any books, tutorials? I would be grateful to him/her.

Hi Rafin,

First of all welcome to the C2000 community.

Let me classify the documentation nomenclature :

1. Datasheet

2. User guides

Both of which you'll find it here: http://www.ti.com/product/tms320f28335

If you want to work on ADCs, ePWMs, SCI, SPI etc the User Guides section will be having it all.

Do let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you so much for your generous and well explanatory reply. I will get back to if I have any further questions regarding this issue. Anyway I wise to work on motor control using ePWMs and some others as well.
