The warnings are probably there because you did not specify those sections. These can be set in the CMD file in the SECTIONS code segment.

One last question: Do i have to install any special package of CCS to be able to compile programs that does not have to do with the launchpad?

Sorry for disturbing again. This guide is for Linux. What do you think?

Major CCS features are same for windows and linux. Just that you've to select device family accordingly. Also, I'm not sure what are you planning to achieve with HelloWorld example. The basic example for C2000 family would be Led_blinking example.
